Vision Beyond Borders is serving in more than 20 countries around the world. The most frequent request we receive from the persecuted church is for prayer. We had the opportunity to meet with a pastor in China who had spent more than 20 years in prison for his faith. As we stood before this humble man, we asked what we could do to help. His reply was, “First, please pray for us. There is much persecution here and many of our leaders are in prison. And please bring Bibles; we need God’s Word!”
The needs are tremendous! At times, the needs are so overwhelming that we are unsure, whether we can truly make a difference. We are humbled and reminded that we are to pray, to cry out on these people’s behalf and then respond to the Lord’s calling. Despite our weakness and inadequacy, we are strong when we fall to our knees in prayer.

We believe God has used and continues to use this ministry through the prayers of His people. We eagerly seek people who are willing to pray on behalf of the ministry and have heard from people all over the world who are praying for us. What an encouragement that is! Our teams consistently report they can literally feel the prayer coverage as they cross the closed borders with the Word of God. It is incredible to hear how God miraculously conceals this precious cargo in response to those who faithfully pray.
Sign up to receive our Praise & Prayer updates from the ministry. Prayer and the Word of God are our mighty weapons, and we are grateful for the faithful prayer support of Believers. We pray these updates will also encourage you in your faith as you hear the testimonies of how God has moved in response to your prayers!

Volunteer locally at one of our warehouses or offices. We have warehouses in Bastrop, TX, Billings, MT, Bozeman, MT, and Casper, WY and we are always in need of volunteers! Sending and packing containers requires individuals with a servant’s heart who are willing to sort clothing, pack boxes, or build pallets. Running a growing organization keeps our administrative staff busy and we are always looking for people that can help with mailings and filing. If you would like to be part of one of the VBB local volunteer teams, please call our office for more information!

Flannelgraphs In countries with low literacy rates, the flannel graph is a key tool utilized to share the Gospel. Flannel graphs are provided at a reduced cost by a partner ministry and come on full felt sheets. We need volunteers willing to spend the time cutting these out and praying over them. These are great projects for local church groups or individuals who cannot physically volunteer in one of our offices. Please call if you are interested in cutting a flannel graph and we would be happy to send you one!
Speaking out for the persecuted church There are many ways you can speak out and be a voice for the persecuted church. Please pray and see if God is leading you to help in any of these ways:
-Talk with the leaders at your church about having a VBB representative speak to your congregation.
-Tell your friends and family about the realities of the persecuted church and ask them to sign up for email updates and newsletters to keep them informed. (These are not the stories we are hearing in the secular news!)
-Request extra copies of the newsletter or brochures from the ministry and hand them out to people.
-Contact your Senators and Representatives on important issues such as the plight of the Karen in Burma.
-Contact your local media (newspapers, TV stations and radio) to see if they would be interested in covering a story on the work VBB and our local communities are doing to help those in need abroad.
